I couldn't believe the news about Huron Consulting this week. Jonathan Weil captured the story, and its glaring lessons, well in his August 6 story. I guess little has changed in 7 years. More than anything, I'm troubled by the Arthur Andersen culture that remains pervasive and toxic. As Mr. Weil so gracefully put it, I guess you can take the accountant out of Arthur Andersen, but you can't take the Arthur Andersen out of the accountant.
I feel bad for my friends that remain at Huron, but isn't it time to put this baby to bed?
